Eagle Nebula, M16

The Eagle Nebula or M16 includes an open star cluster and its associated star forming nebulae. The Pillars of Creation are near the bright center. Its namesake eagle is the dark V spread nebulosity in the center of the bright region. This image under bright urban Bortle 7 skies is possible because of the dual Ha and Oiii band Optolong L-eNhance filter. Three hours of 3 minute exposures were drizzle stacked.
